Alexandra Schmal has been singing since early childhood and has mainly written songs in English since her youth.
Her first profound encounters with God in the 1990s are reflected in her lyrics, which ultimately led her to end her singing career in the secular music scene and dedicate herself entirely to serving God and His Kingdom.
Since her time in the Youth Prayer Group (later UGW), she has regularly participated in various worship settings (Prayer House Wiener Neustadt, Jesus in the City, Prayerroom, etc.) and, after many years of service on the worship team at Ichthys Church in Wiener Neustadt, has been part of the worship team at Four Corners Church in Vienna for several years now.
She has recorded some of her initially more evangelistic songs on two CDs (under the pseudonym “Terra Jordan”) and posts numerous YouTube videos to share the Gospel through music. After changing her name to JORDANsPROJECT, she wants to place even greater emphasis on praise and worship.
Worship is not just music, it's a lifestyle!
Alexandra Schmal studied singing and has been active in worship for over 30 years. In congregations such as UGW-Mödling, Vineyard-Wien, Ichthys-Wiener Neustadt or currently 4corners Christian Fellowship-Vienna, she has become acquainted with many different settings and leadership styles. Her central longing is to help people immerse themselves in God’s presence, to get to know this Jesus, who died and rose for them, and to experience his reality.
